RESERVATION REQUIRED The Bahá’í Gardens in ‘Akko are located at the northern edge of the city. The entrance is near the North ‘Akko intersection on National Road 4, at the end of the old access road to Kibbutz Shomrat. This location has designated parking. This tour takes about 1.25 hours. The Bahá’í Gardens at Bahjí in ‘Akko form a wide circle surrounding the historic mansion where Bahá’u’lláh, the Prophet-Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, resided during the final years of His life and the shrine where His remains were laid to rest. Accessibility: There is an accessible drop off area and designated parking. Paths are composed of pebbles. Special wheelchairs are available with advanced notice. RECOMMENDATIONS and REMINDERS The Bahá’í Gardens are religious sites that are open to the general public without charge. As in most other such sites, visitors are asked to wear modest clothing that covers your shoulders and reaches your knees with no tears, to help keep the place clean and beautiful, and to behave in a manner that is considerate of the sensitivities of others.
